Vivekananda vidyalaya College of Education, located at Kavanoor Main Road, Arakkonam in Ranipet district, Tamil Nadu, received formal recognition and permission from the Southern Regional Committee (SRC) of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in 2007. The institution initially started with an intake of 100 students, offering a one-year B.Ed. program for secondary teacher education. The college was first affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, and later, with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, reinforcing its commitment to teacher training excellence.
